0000004V( 201KB zipped ) - This is a special update to bring the common names used in R6 into line  with the recommended common names in the UK Species Inventory (UKSI) .   If XML Report Dic2  is run after this update  it should report - Taxon List  = 243 , Taxon* => 317,094, Taxon Version 323,169, Taxon List Item = 734,801, Organism 121,204 (ie no change from  0000004U.  Most of the changes are  in the Taxon_Common_Name  table. It is necessary to rebuild the indexes after this update.


0000004W( 391KB zipped ) - This is a  low priority update to make minor changes the Master List. It is suggested that it is not run until 0000004X is available.   If XML Report Dic2  is run after this update  it should report - Taxon List  = 243 , Taxon* => 317,094, Taxon Version 323,169, Taxon List Item = 734,799, Organism 121,204 . It is necessary to rebuild the indexes after this update.


0000004X,0000004Y,0000004Z - These are a small update which will take only seconds to run. Do not rebuild the indexes after running these, but wait until after you have run 00000050.


00000050( 498 KB zipped ) - This is a  major update to bring the R6 Dictionary  in line with the UKSI as at 7 July 2021.  If XML Report Dic2  is run after this update  it should report - Taxon List  = 243 , Taxon* => 317,721, Taxon Version 323,796, Taxon List Item = 735,679, Organism 121,459 . It is necessary to rebuild the indexes after this update.


00000051 (254 KB zipped) - In this update the taxonomy of the Beetles has been updated. Please use the Master List to access this as the Beetles list is no longer being maintained. Other changes bring the Recorder 6 Dictionary in line with the UKSI as at 24/09/2021.   If XML Report Dic2  is run after this update  it should report - Taxon List  = 248 , Taxon* => 318,282, Taxon Version 324,357, Taxon List Item = 737,004, Organism 121,680 . It is necessary to rebuild the indexes after this update.


00000052 (214 KB zipped) -  This change bring the Recorder 6 Dictionary in line with the UKSI as at 18/05/2022.  The update includes recent revisions made by JNCC to species designations.  If XML Report Dic2  is run after this update  it should report - Taxon List  = 248 , Taxon* => 318,929, Taxon Version 325,004, Taxon List Item = 737,821 Organism 122,223 . It is necessary to rebuild the indexes after this update.


00000053 (475 KB zipped) -  This change bring the Recorder 6 Dictionary in line with the UKSI as at 11/03/2023. The update includes a significant number of changes to The JNCC Collation List of Taxon Designations - mainly to Red List GB.   If XML Report Dic2  is run after this update  it should report - Taxon List  = 248 , Taxon* => 319691, Taxon Version 325,766, Taxon List Item = 739,422, Organism 122,481. It is necessary to rebuild the indexes after this update.


00000054 (14,878 KB unzipped or 512 zipped) -  This change bring the Recorder 6 Dictionary in line with the UKSI as at 29/09/2023.  If XML Report Dic2  is run after this update  it should report - Taxon List  = 249 , Taxon* => 321250, Taxon Version 327,325, Taxon List Item = 742,191, Organism 122,756. It is necessary to rebuild the indexes after this update.


00000055 (21,730 KB unzipped or 768 zipped) -  This change bring the Recorder 6 Dictionary in line with the UKSI as at 23/08/2024.  If XML Report Dic2  is run after this update  it should report - Taxon List  = 249 , Taxon* => 324670, Taxon Version 330,745, Taxon List Item = 745,914, Organism 122,957. It is necessary to rebuild the indexes after this update.

There is not normally a need to restore from backup and it should be safe to use R6 while the matter is investigated. )
